This is the Relaunch of my Blog

Welcome to my new blog on my updated, and much prettier website.  My last website somehow got swallowed up into the ether and just disappeared, so we've been working away since the end of last year to remodel the whole thing.  I'm really pleased with how it looks and just hope I can "drive" it satisfactorily. So far, so good!

I've included a photo of part of my studio.  You can see part of my 8 shaft jack loom and some of my stash , and my collection of African Violets that really like the conditions in the studio.

I have to confess that I wouldn't like to actually photograph the studio in its present condition.  It looks like a bomb has hit it!  I've got a length of fabric all woven on the loom and ready to be cut off and sewn.  I've got planning stuff all over my desk.  I've got my accounts being dealt with and only half way through so stacked on the ironing board, and on the sewing table I've got (commercial) fabric waiting to be made up into tops and and some knitting books I've been looking at and various other debris that have been dumped!  Shocking.  I love looking at the beautiful studio spaces on Pinterest.  All the yarns and fabrics lined up, computer sitting in a neat space on the desk, pretty inspiration pictures on the wallboard and I can only sigh.  Do people actually ever work in those spaces?  Am I the only one that makes a mess?

I do have a plan!  I'm working through the list of "things to do" one at a time and I'm going to wrest back a semblance of order - really I am! Watch this space!
